This week I have been monitoring my HF WSPR reports on web site http://wspr.aprsinfo.com/ run by M0XDK. Type in my call, G8AXA. Tick auto and in a short time, reports in the past hour will appear. If you point on the Rx site, a report on my signals will be shown.
Solar Report
In the week, there has hope that we may have three new sunspots, from the new solar cycle (25). alas only one lasted more than 24 hours.On Friday at 07:00 (correction from my WhatsApp comment) a solar flair hit Earth. It had no effect on HF, but the VHF bands did see an a short improvement. See my 6 Meter report.
80 Meters. Reports Greater Than 500km.
A better week, with reports as far as the Canaries being more common.
40 Meters Reports Greater Than 1000km.
Most reports have been received from the Europe. However reports in the evening have been received back from ZL, VK and PY
20 Meters Reports Greater Than 3000km.
Most reports have been from North America. However reports during the week have come back from JA, ZS, FR5 (Reunion Island) and one from VK and Antarctica. These reports have been at odd times during the day, with no pattern.
15 Meters Reports Greater Than 1000km.
During the week, the best report was from the Canaries. On Saturday I did get one report from North America.
10 Meters. Reports Greater Than 500km.
Monday saw very poor conditions, with one report. The Canaries again was the best DX.
6 Meters.
Generally a very poor week on this band. Wednesday did see an increase in reports, but only from DL, HB and GM. Friday was interesting, at 07:00 UTC a solar flair hit Earth. By chance I was transmitting at this time and had a report back from DL. Saturday saw an increase in reports, but not was expected for this time of year.
