Kieran 2E0FVB, Phil M0IMA and Mark G8PHM assembled one warm Friday afternoon in a field in Otford to set up portable radio stations, and operate. It worked!

The G8PHM station is a fishing rod delta loop, with an LDG 817 auto-tuner, Yaesu SCU-17 modem and FT817 portable, a Dell Latitude Laptop running Windows 10 and WSJT-X 2.3.0.

Kieran brought his FT857 station, which has just a little more power to do at than the G8PHM FT817.

Phil has an excellent fishing shelter for himself, chair, table, Elecraft radio and battery.
