A team of DVRS members, including Kieran 2E0FVB, Paul M0HAL, Phil M0IMA, Chris M0KPU and Mark G8PHM installed a 19" rack for the club station. Mains power is wired to the rear of the rack. Next steps are to transfer the club main station from the steel press into this rack, and re-route the antenna cabling. The rack was kindly donated by Kieran 2E0FVB.

This will make GX0KDV station operation on club nights and for training events much more convenient, and reduce wear and tear on equipment, connectors and cabling, so prolonging their lifetimes and reducing costs for the club members.

Previously, station setup and clear-down times had taken as much as 90 mins of a club evening.
