At the 26th October 2022 club meeting, I, Mark G8PHM, gave my second presentation in a series on thermionic valves, this time covering the amplification factor of a valve, represented by the greek letter mu. The previous presentation covered much of valve basic operation and characteristics. Subsequent presentations will cover the other key valve constants, and typical circuits used in radio.
