First of all, I have reduced the power output from the rig, to one watt. So as to give a more true report, on what you may be able to work on the bands.
Solar Report
A very quiet week a sunspot was seen developing, but alas it did not last more than 24 Hours. There is a solar wind expected to hit Earth today, Sunday 13th September.
HF Report
All bands have been very much up and down in the number of reports.
7Mhz Reports > 1000km.
Reports back from VK and PY have been down this week. In part due to the reduced power. Friday was the poorest day for reports, with none from outside Europe. Early Saturday morning did get one report back from TI.
14Mhz Reports > 3000km
Sunday and Monday was good to South America. Tuesday I had reports back from South Africa in the early morning and the odd report during the day. Wednesday, again good reports from South Africa in the morning and the odd one during the day. Early evening saw the odd report from PY. Thursday, not so may reports from South Africa and just one from PY just prior to close down at 21:54. Friday very few reports from South Africa, nearly 100% of reports were from North America. Saturday the band did not open to North America until 10:30 UTC. The only other reports were from 9K2ET in the afternoon and early evening.
21Mhz Reports > 1000kmNo DX reports all week. On Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday I did not have one report from outside of the UK. Sunday was the best day, with reports from OE and TF.
28Mhz Reports > 500km.Like 15 Meters on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, I did not get any reports at all, that were over 500km away. Sunday and Monday were the best days, with reports from GM, LA, DL, OZ and I.
