The DVRS training team were privileged to host Keith Bird, G4JED, The Radio Society of Great Britain (RSGB) Regional Representative for our area to discus the development of the RSGB Beyond Exams scheme.

As one of the first clubs in the area to develop a Beyond Exams program, our training team was pleased to be able to discuss with Keith the possibilities the program offers. Particularly for new radio amateurs who have just passed their Foundation Licence online.

The RSGB has run exams for over 1500 people during the current Covid-19 lock down and it was great to be able to discus with Keith how Darenth Valley can support these new radio amateurs in developing both their skills and their enjoyment of the hobby.
