Solar report.

As far as radio goes it has been a very quiet week. A new sunspot did appear on Friday that was from the new sunspot cycle. Alas it only lasted less than 24 hours and therefore was not given a sunspot number.

HF Report

Steve’s WSPR system has not been running this week, so no report. However I hope to have WSPR running soon on HF, now that I have tuned my long wire. It will be interesting to see how it compares with the dipole I was using.

Six Meters

It has been very quiet on six meters this past week, as far as WSPR signals are concerned. A lot of stations have been using FT8 to work to North America and to Japan, but is the fun in that when you only have to click a mouse button.

Getting back to my report. Monday was the only day that produced a good number of reports, the best DX was EW2ABC in Belarus. Other reports were from DL, OZ and SM.
